John joined the club in 1982 after moving to East Wenatchee and has been an active member for over 20 years, including past presidency of the club. Lately, he has operated the "Custom Black and White Photo Lab" for several years. All in all, John has been active in photography for 67 years. |
Guy finds that, as with most things in life, he is not re-inventing the wheel with photography but rather adding to the collective body of knowledge already out there in how he would take a particular photo. In order to do this, Guy actively participates in photography contests, showing his photography, and photography associations. |
Rick has a comprehensive selection of 35mm manual and auto-focus Canon equipment that he uses to photograph people and events together. In addition, Rick also uses digital and video cameras in these pursuits. |
Ivan started taking pictures at 15 when presented with a Brownie Flash camera equipped with 127mm B&W film. He then took pictures of scenery, people, and trains, and has done so ever since. Today, Ivan produces his own pictures through digital scanning and inkjet printing, archiving the results on CD's. Currently he is the two-year term President of the club, having joined in 1995. |
Sally initially joined the club to be supportive for her two sons who at the time were just beginning photographers. She enjoys cutting mats to frame all the pictures the family takes. Additionally, as a child her father ran his own darkroom thereby sparking her interest today in working in the darkroom in their home. |
This octegenerian has been active in photography for over 50 years taking principally 35mm slides, more recently with just her Minolta Maxxim camera. She belonged to the Odessa Camera Club for about 10 years in the 1970's and has been with the Wenatchee club for about 15 years. She makes the trip to Wenatchee about 10 times a year, which is almost 200 miles for the round-trip. Currently, she is also the curator of the Odessa Museum. |

Joe is an avid outdoor adventurer, who has climbed Mount Rainier, and likes to take his camera along to record his explorations. |
Ron has a keen interest in both aviation and railroad photography, and enjoys displaying his photos at the local fairs and around town. Even though Ron has been a Wenatchee resident for 35 years, he only joined the club recently in 1999. His favorite 35mm camera equipment includes a Canon EOS A2 and an Olympus Stylus. |
Cory enjoys taking pictures of anything that interests him, whether that be people, trains, or otherwise. Cory looks forward to using his Pentax Spotmatic and ZX-7 in all sorts of situations that help display his interest in photography. He also shows an interest in digital photography in addition to the use of 35mm slides. |
Dan has enjoyed photography since 1968 when he bought his first Pentax Spotmatic to take pictures while touring Europe. When his sons became interested in photography he was able to share his knowledge of picture taking with them, consequentially the family has enjoyed many trips with their cameras. |

Gary first got into photography when he took a photography class at Eastmont High School in 1997, ever since then he has been hooked. Gary enjoys taking flower and scenery pictures, but his main subject is trains. He uses a Canon EOS Elan IIe camera along with Sigma lenses and Kodak EBX film. Gary has been a member since 1999. |
Hood is a former member who rejoined in 2003. He likes to shoot nature scenes using his Advantix camera. |

Debbie enjoys taking pictures of her family, especially her new grandson. Additionally, she enjoys going on trips and preserving her memories on film. |
Dave has gotton serious with photography within only the last couple of years. Today he enjoys taking pictures of landscapes, animals (wildlife and domestic), and wildflowers with his Sony 8.0 megapixel camera. |
David is a recent addition, who while in high school was the head photographer for the yearbook and took over 80% of the photos published with his Canon AE-1. Today, after a 16 year vacation from photography, he has began to relearn photography with a new digital SLR Canon camera and looks forward to getting together with others to photograph nature and landscape scenes. |

Initially Ed was a photographer in the Air Force for 18 months, during which time he was published upon several occasions. Today his interest is in landscape and wildlife photography, and a desire to learn more about portrait photography using a digital camera. |
